What Our Crew Handles in Sebastopol
Redwood, Oak and Orchard Tree Removal
We safely take down trees of any size in Sebastopol, from a worn-out apple tree in a backyard orchard to a towering redwood or a big coast live oak leaning over the house.
Pruning Before the Wet Winter
We shape the canopy, clear the deadwood, and cut back the limbs reaching over your roof, your driveway, or the power lines, then thin the heavy crowns so the wet winter storms rolling in off the coast have less to grab.
Brush and Orchard Clearing
Brush removal and lot clearing done cleanly, with the healthy trees left in good shape.
Stump Grinding for New Plantings
On Sebastopol’s orchard and garden lots an old stump is often right where you want to plant something new. We grind it out below grade so you can replant or lay sod.

Apple Orchards and Foggy Winters in Sebastopol
Sebastopol sits in the cool, foggy stretch of western Sonoma County, where damp winters and mild summers grow a wide range of trees, from old backyard apple trees to tall redwoods and spreading oaks. Those conditions are great for trees, but they also keep soils wet well into spring, which changes how roots behave and how trees should be pruned. We have spent years working all over west county, so we know how your trees respond here.

Quick Answers Before You Call
Sometimes. Some North Bay cities and counties protect heritage or native trees, so we check the rules for your lot before any work starts.
Most removals run about $1,500 to $3,500, depending on size and access. You get a firm written price first.
Late summer or early fall, before the winter storms and wet ground arrive. Emergencies we handle any time.
Removal, Trimming, Stumps and Storms
Sebastopol sits in the cool, foggy western stretch of Sonoma County, apple country where old Gravenstein orchards, tall redwoods, and big spreading oaks all grow side by side on damp, wooded lots.
When a Tree Has to Come Out
The wet soils out in west county can loosen a root plate and put a tall tree at risk, and that is exactly the kind of removal we are set up for, with careful rigging and a crane when the drop zone is tight.
Keeping Sebastopol’s Trees Healthy
The native oaks get pruned in the dry summer window, since cutting them in the damp season opens the door to disease, and the old apple trees respond well to a proper winter shaping that keeps them productive.
Grinding the Stump Down
Grinding takes it below the surface, and we rake up before we go.
Ready for Fog, Wind, and Winter Storms
Out here in west county the bigger worry is weather off the coast, not a wildfire front.
